Javiera Visedo is the Director of Engagement for Latin America at Education New Zealand, the New Zealand Government agency for international education.

Javiera Visedo is passionate about international education, educational diplomacy and internationalization. Based at the New Zealand Embassy in Santiago de Chile since 2012, Javiera's role is to provide strategic advice and intelligence to further develop educational relationships between New Zealand and Chile and Colombia.

Her daily work consists in liaise with governments, universities and other education stakeholders on educational diplomacy initiatives and to advance the New Zealand government's goals around international education; promotion of New Zealand as an educational destination; and work to support internationalization efforts in New Zealand.
