Ana Azevedo

Executive Officer

Ana Azevedo is an international engagement specialist with over 20 years’ experience advancing strategic partnerships between Latin America and New Zealand.

Ana has held senior leadership roles across international education, trade engagement, and cross-sector collaboration, working closely with government, industry, and academic stakeholders. Her work focuses on enabling high-level connections, leading delegations, and developing initiatives that strengthen bilateral relationships, support market development, and unlock opportunities for trade, investment, and innovation. Ana brings deep regional expertise, particularly in Brazil, and a strong track record in building partnerships that translate strategic dialogue into practical outcomes.

Based in New Zealand, Ana has lived in Brazil, Argentina, Australia and Spain. She is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English and holds an International Executive MBA.
