LANZBC & ExportNZ - Spotlight on Latin America

The next event in the LANZBC/Export NZ roadshow moved to Auckland, where Latin America was the focus of one of Export NZ's regular 'Khybar for Exporters after-5' events that 'celebrate, inspire and encourage business to expands their business horizons internationally'.
After welcomes from LANZBC President Matthew O'Meagher and Catherine Lye, Export NZ Auckland's Executive Officer, members of both organisations heard a series of remarks on the region from Chilean Ambassador Isauro Torres, Glidepath's Sir Ken Stevens, Mike Riley and Wendi Croft of Compaq Sorting Equipment, and Rachel Williams of Viva New Zealand.
Everyone enjoyed the lively and personal insights the speakers shared, which ranged from similarities between New Zealand and Chile, the origins of Sir Ken's interest in Latin America, the significance of New Zealand's imminent health & safety law changes, and Viva's offerings for travellers to Latin America.
